As anticipated at the end of last year during the presentation of an initial assessment of the year’s progress, the 2020 unfolded as a complex year. The significant impact of the Covid-19 pandemic first and foremost required us to reorganize our work, adapting it, as needed, to the changing trends in infections. Continuous reassessment of activities, operating methods, and objectives, all made possible thanks to technological support developed in recent years, proved extremely useful in managing the emergency. Nevertheless, these efforts did not prevent us from supporting and assisting municipalities in finding the most appropriate solutions for their needs, which were further aggravated and made difficult by the Coronavirus.
We worked in collaboration with the Association on topics such as training, legality, energy, digitalization, development and innovation, communication, support for young people, and everything aimed at the growth and support of our Lombard municipalities. Through Anci Lombardia, we directed our efforts to other regional Anci, offering our experience and methodologies to increase the value of services offered to their communities, creating networks, and promoting the exchange of best practices.
